Anyways its a 95YJ pretty much bone stock except for the 31` Dick Cepek tires on it. 03X (pat) and I took a look through it and checked everything out... solid frame engine runs VERY strong clutch is good. Looking to put a 4in rough country lift on it sometime soon hopefully (when the wife approves).... Any suggestions on where to start? I want to keep it road legal can prob push it a little bit but I want to make it look good and off road just as good. Anyone know of some good shops or places to get good parts at a good price? im new on here looking for a good home!!

April 23, 2010Thanks for the welcome guys, So yeah my jeep is bone stock so if anyone knows any good shops to get parts at a good price let me know. Right now the plan is to sell the hard top and full hard doors and pick up a soft top and soft doors. Also looking to throw a 4 in lift in there and see what happens. It has 31 dick cepek tires on it that are pretty much brand new so that will work. Any other suggestions?? Im not new to jeeping so I know my way around. 03x (Pat) has pictures of my old jeep with his.
April 24, 2010Hey Tony, again welcome to the site! we all pretty much started with a stock jeep! you can check out alot of jeeps at the topless day event and get alot of ideas! as for where to get stuff, the 2 I use alot are Quadratec and 4wheel hardware, never had a problem with either of them! as for local shop, dunno about the North shore, but 2 of the best is Dom`s in Hampstead, NH, and Elias 4x4 Center in Townsend, MA, both Dom and Lou at Elias are great guys to work with and very informative! Lou actually built my CJ7 which will be making it`s first showing at topless day! I`m sure they may be some good shops up in the North Shore area, there are also a few good ones down on the south shore including our own Dan(Crzyjeeper94), so check around, I`m sure you`ll find someone that will treat you well! here`s the links to Doms and Lous!
April 25, 2010Thanks for the good word Bob I do my best for all
April 26, 2010Thanks guys, once the wife starts approving funds to build ill be able to get the ball rolling!
April 26, 2010Any jeeperz know someone who may be selling yj parts or a lift?
April 26, 2010Welcome to Jeeperz . Don`t have any used YJ parts, well not worth selling anyway, but the best place to get a RC lift that I have found is National Tire and Wheel. Look at the specials section. $429 for a 4" lift with new shocks. They always ship fast and I have never had an issue with them. http://www.ntwonline.com/Jeep_YJ_Suspension_Specials_C791.cfm
