August 26, 2008i was wondering how much flex people are getting with their soa suspension. im running a soa with RE 2.5" rear springs on front and waggy springs on back with boomerang shackles both on 1 ton full width axles. im getting 33"s under the front tires and 32"s under the rear. i thought i would get more. does this sound right?

mine flexes a better but thats comparing apples to oranges. (different springs)
it will flex a bit better after a few runs, you actually have to get them out and wheel em every once and a while ya know? :p
August 27, 2008looks go to me. I am not sure how much flex I gained with the SOA. Gonna test it Sat at longs.

August 28, 2008dont think those are new springs. had to measure but i get about 44" under my tires. are the shocks limiting it?
August 28, 2008the front springs are not new but i was told that they only had 2-3 runs on them and they look like it. i removed the rear shocks already, they were bottoming out and i think the fronts are also but i wont be able to check that till next week.

August 29, 2008I had to run around town trying to find a place to flex on so I could measure where I needed to mount the shocks without them bottoming out. That thing looks good!
September 5, 2008that looks great to me. yea w/ my springs took almost a yr of daily driving and moderate wheeling to break my black diamonds in but once they broke in wow did i notice a difference

i did a little testing with all of the shocks off today. i am still getting 33"s under the front tires but now i am getting 40"s under the rear (bad ***). am i right in thinking that when a rear tire is raised you are actually flexing the front and when a front tire is raised you are flexing the back? i think i am having a problem with the boomerang shackles in the rear. the rear leafs seem to go into a negative arc and limit to quickly compared to the front
