February 26, 2007In that case you CANNOT beat the bias ply IROKs for price/performance. Not really sure how they do on the streat, but they are AWESOME in the rock. Outperform the BFG Krawler in my opinion and they cost MUCH LESS.

February 26, 2007if it was still a DD i would say the BFG muds. i kno some people who have got 50k+ miles out of a set. im not real sure otherwise. although i hear the goodyear MTR is an awesome tire
February 26, 2007My friend has a set of 37x12.50 Iroks and they do awesome in everything that hes thrown at them. Theyre on his DD and I havnt heard him complain about them on the street
February 26, 2007I really like my MTR's. They get my vote ;thumb
February 26, 2007Howz about the new Cepek M/T's...they look to about a mild mudder or an aggressive A/T......
March 12, 2007One of the local 4x4 show likes the Mickey Thompson MTZ. Anyone running these or have seen them?
Thanks for all the good words! I guess the bottom line is that I need a tire that works good in snow and ice too. My BFG's are really slick in the winter and that is not a lot of fun here. Thoughts???
March 13, 2007you ever look at the firestone destination mt's im run them 33x12.50x15 and just love em
March 13, 2007Yeah, I have a suggestion - GET TWO SETS. I doubt you're going to find a tire that works well in snow AND slickrock. Why sacrifice either?
Got IROKS for the summer and snow chains for the winter.
March 13, 2007I don't know how much I can compare what I have seen to what you need Jason but I am with centx4X4 (the Firestone Destination MT's) I was really impressed with those tires when I saw them in mud and sharp rocks covered with snow
March 13, 2007im a big BFG fan myself, i like the muds.
my buddy back home is running 33" mickey thompson baja mtz on his f150. take a look
May 11, 2007I figured I would close this up telling what I ended up doing. After procrastinating till the Thursday before Moab, I went to the Local Big-O dealer to see what he would for me on the BFG MT, Goodyear MTR or Mickey Thompson MTZ tires. He made his calls and said the BFG and MT were available ...but he also said he could get me the Toyo Mt's if I wanted. I questioned him as I had been to the Toyo page and it said they only made a 33x13.50 15, and I wanted a 33x12.50. He said the Toyo was a 12.50. I said I will take the Toyo's (that is what I wanted to begin with, have them on my Dodge and love them) but bet him a 6 pack thinking that the tires that would arrive would be the 13.50's.
Well the Toyo's arrived, I came in for the install thinking I was getting BFG's and a 6 pack...and low and behold!!! The Toyo's were a 12.50!
So I went with the Toyo's! They worked great and ride even better! I will post some pics this weekend if I can.
