December 26, 2006What I was trying to say was that most aftermarket wheels do not match the stock offset. They generally have more, thus they stick out more. I have 4.5 offset on my 15x8's and they they tuck perfect when flexed with my 33's, but I did some trimming. Here they are on my old XJ.

December 28, 2006Ok I think we're on the same page then Jason. The reason for going to aftermarket wheels is solely for the extra offset (wider) to get the tires away from rubbing the control arms.
December 29, 2006Go to http://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html for a good write up on wheel spacing and offset. This should help answer some confusion.
Just tryin to help ya out.
