32 on the road.December 27, 2005
my 2 cents...December 28, 2005
between 10 and 15 depending on where im at. im on 31x10.50x15December 28, 2005
I have to agree with Willybad, it really depends on your side walls. I have 33" x 12.50 Boggers and I run 10 psi all the time. Even on the trails I don't get that much side wall flex. Steve ran his tires at the same as mine and his side walls flexed alot more. I think that you need to just try out few different pressure ranges to see what works best with your rig, (tires rig weight etc.)February 4, 2006
I have never aired down, running MT BAJA CLAWS, 33-12.50's. I think I am going to get bold with it and drop em next trail run. It just scares the hell out of me to break a bead on the trail!July 10, 2007
I realize this post has been dead for a while, but I'm heading to the OBX and plan on going to the beaches with my jeep, I've heard stick to the packed sand during lo-tide rather than messing with the soft stuff up top, if Im going to drive for a bit. But still wondering whats ideal for my tires on road and offroad mud rocks sand and dirt. Ive got the BFG M/t 32x11.50s. If that makes much of a difference.July 10, 2007
Ive run lots of sand in the past. as long as your on a 15 or 16 inch rim you can easily airdown to 10 and 15 psi. i usually run around 13psi in the sand on 15s. aired down you should be able to go anywhere you want. nd always air down all four tires. not airing down the front tire will let your front end sink and you will be pushing your front end around.July 11, 2007
i run between 7 and 4 psi. beadlocks are cool..........July 15, 2007
For on road you need to figure your pressure in comparison to the tire you have for example: My Liberty takes 32psi with stock tires but with 32" MTR's anything over 30psi and I won't have full tread (or foot)! Off road I run 20psi. I found when I run less than that I wind up with a rim leak. Joe
