November 10, 2007I'm sure gears will liven things up for you. What do you have now 3.08's? 35's are HUGE for stock gears. My 2000 had 3.73's with 30.5 X 9.5's and a 5 speed and it was actually very peppy right fom the factory. I forget what option gave you the 3.73's it may have been limited slip "Track Lock" but it mad a big difference in both performance and gas mileage. I actually got quite abit better gas mileage than a buddy of mine with basically the same rig but had the 3.08's.
November 17, 2007Look at a avenger supercharger I installed one on my sisters 97 and it really makes it go it has 4:11 gears 35" tires and a 5 speed with a 8 Inch lift and 2 inch body lift but the supercharger really helps. It was installed 2 years ago and have had no problems yet it will bark tires in 3 gears with ease. look at the 97 911 for pics.

You may feel it week because of the wrong gear ration if you have bigger wheels. Changing that to optimal numbers will make your jeep more agile.
