May 13, 2007I'm sure in time there will be one for us.
May 13, 2007I am sure it is just one of those "new Guys" deal..Have patience and I am sure they will give you your forum
May 13, 2007I'm just going to throw this out there... but I hope you didn't purchase the 2 wheel drive model.
May 16, 2007Is that switches for power windows in the middle?
May 16, 2007Yes, its power windows.
And here is a little "tid-bit"
If you see the drivers side door, look for the emblem by the fender "Trail Rated" If the JK has that, its a 4x4.
On another note - found a few other websites for the JK... It doesn't look like this site is good for me.
I'll see ya guys around.
May 16, 2007I think we are a little hurt by that comment "It doesn't look like this site is good for me".
Please do post up if you find site with a better group of guys and gals with a great sense of humor and always willing to help. We are sorry that we do not have a JK section, but like said, I am sure it will come. This site is just not about a certain make or model of Jeep, it is about JEEPS. Sometimes when folks hook up with single model sites they end up thinking they are better than the rest or have the "ultimate" vehicle just becasue of a make or model. Hope you don't fall into that group I hope to build a JK in the years to come and can only hope it performs as good as my YJ.
Good luck to you and hope you get a chance to post up here every now and again.
May 17, 200789wrangler,
my comment was not directed to anybody.
I am sure there are a lot of great folks on this website. I'm looking to talk about the JK and the mods that are out for it (or lack of mods out for it LOL!) and when this site doesn't even have a JK section it makes it even more difficult for the JK'ers out there.
May 17, 2007Grant,
I totally understand where you are coming from and than thanks for the clarification Hopefully (if we ever get a JK forum ) you will check back with us .
Good luck and happy moddin !
May 17, 2007See ya Grant.
May 17, 2007What sucks about him leaving is that means there are even fewer of us JK owners here. Thus decreasing the chance of our own section. I know some people look down on the JK saying its not a real jeep. Its as much of a jeep as I've ever seen. It just may have some more creature comforts that the older ones don't have. They are all very cool rides and I plan on sticking around to learn all that I can.
I was/am a member of DTW now for over three years and after a while it goes beyond the truck/jeep friendship. Kinda like hanging out at the bar or wherever when you come on here. We all have a love of some type of vehicle and here it just so happens to be jeeps no matter what year it is.
